# Quely

> Quely is the intelligence layer that connects the systems a team already uses — Jira, GitHub, Linear, Slack, Notion, Figma, and more — organizing work, synthesizing context, and surfacing the signals that matter.

Quely's model in one sentence: connected systems contribute information → information becomes Units → Units exist within Spaces → Orbit reasons across Units → Orbit discovers Signals → Lenses surface what matters → Ownership helps teams act.

## Core concepts

- **Spaces** — focused intelligence environments; a Space may represent a team, customer, product area, initiative, or strategic objective.
- **Queue** — the collection of Units Orbit reasons over within a Space.
- **Units** — the foundational objects Orbit understands and reasons about. Two types: **Work Units** (execution — Jira Issues, Linear Issues, GitHub Issues, Support Tickets, Tasks, Incidents) and **Context Units** (understanding — Customers, Features, Product Areas, Initiatives, Releases, Teams, Competitors, Strategic Themes).
- **Orbit** — Quely's intelligence layer. It reasons across Units using native properties, connected integrations, historical activity, cross-unit relationships, and organizational context, and answers questions about the work in seconds.
- **Signals** — meaningful observations Orbit discovers: Decisions, Questions, Risks, Opportunities, Action Items, Dependencies, Blockers, Assumptions, Commitments, Emerging Themes.
- **Lenses** — perspectives through which Orbit presents information: Risk, Decision, Opportunity, Execution, Alignment.
- **Ownership** — Quely's execution surface, focused on responsibility, workload, and capacity.
